about
The story about essential fear that refuses to accept the demise.
Exclusively released for Robust Fellow prods.
lyrics
People were savages, flesh on their teeth
Instead of skyscrapers above only heaps
The rooftops are hanging over the skyfall
The number of hives increase
Two headed snake
Squeeze on my neck
Bats eat my blood
Taking me back
The master burned writings yet hoped he was wrong
So frightened by truth that was silent for long
Struggled to strive every being alive
Returns in to where it came from

A great live capture of a band that exemplifies the best of stoner, doom, and psychedelic rock in the current age: all in one package. Picking a favourite song is hard because each song succeeds in nominating itself. I lean toward Enter the Zigurat, though. The production and mix are studio quality. Very clear & balanced. The band sound great live, too. Long jams to get lost in; great guitar, great vocals. Each instrument complements the others. No overshadowing. Thanks, ST! 8.5+/10. Alrihkh
I imagine this being found as a dusty, black labeled test pressing, smelling of bongwater and dried blood... They warp a Neil Young song brilliantly (I think he would approve). And I could see “Children Of The Sun” on the back end of Volume 4. Brian Parker
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021
Italian stoner powerhouse Tenebra has the heft of Sabbath and the hooks of Saint Vitus in their powerfully imposing tunes. Bandcamp New & Notable May 8, 2022
